Want to meet new friends?

Luncheon Club - Gill.jpgA new Lunch Club has been set up by Rhuddlan Town Community Association. A very good 2 course meal with tea/ coffee and biscuits was provided for a very reasonable £4.

Gill Price, one of the volunteers from Rhuddlan Town Community Association said “the Lunch Club is open to everybody. We are very encouraged on how many people supported the first Lunch Club and we would like to reach out, in particular, to those people, that don’t get out much. This is an opportunity to come out for a meal and a chat with others”.

The Mayor, Cllr Andy Smith said that this is an excellent initiative and is very keen for it to work. There are people in Rhuddlan that would benefit in coming along to the Lunch Club in Rhuddlan Community Centre. There is no need to be nervous about coming on your own, Rhuddlan Town Community Association Volunteers will make you feel very welcomed.

The next Lunch Club will be held at Rhuddlan Community Centre, Friday 9th March – opens at 11am.
