Blooming Gorgeous Floristry officially opened its doors with ribbon cutting by Cllr Gareth Rowlands, the Mayor of Rhuddlan.

The business started from the home and garage of Ed Furber and his partner Peter Fletcher, and very quickly grew big enough to open a shop in Rhuddlan. “We’ve had a great response from the locals of Rhuddlan. We chose Rhuddlan as it is a very attractive place with an up and coming small high street, along with the success of Wales in Bloom and this year competing in Britain in Bloom, it was a no brainer. We really enjoy becoming part of the community and building relationships with our returning customers.

We also support the royal British legion as my partner Pete is soon to become a veteran after serving for 21 years in the British army, in this we offer a 10% discount to all serving personnel and veterans of the forces and emergency services!.”

The Mayor stated “it’s great that new shops are opening in Rhuddlan. It shows that Rhuddlan is a thriving and developing town and that the Wales in Bloom success was a deciding factor for Ed and Peter to set up a business in Rhuddlan is a great credit to all the volunteers, groups and societies that have helped make this possible”.
