A BIG Thank You to a Dedicated Rhuddlan Resident
Mrs Beti Jones has always been a fantastic supporter of our surgery in RHUDDLAN. One of the projects she has been involved in is the use of books new and old within the RHUDDLAN Surgery. These books were donated by local residents and visitors to the surgery who would borrow a book giving a financial donation.
The project came into existence on the 1st of June 2007. As the only member left on the “Friends of Rhuddlan Surgery” she has carried on raising funds single handed . This I’m sure will have contributed to keeping our local surgery open and providing vital equipment for staff and patients. £3,111 has been spent on such items as Ambulatory Blood Monitor, a Specialist Surgery Light and a Lec Pharmacy Refrigerator.
Unfortunately, due to Covid 19 the project has to end. Mrs Jones in discussions with the two doctors have decided that the remaining £1,089 be used to purchase a Fitted Doctor’s Bag, which will be kept in the Surgery for the use of the two doctors and student doctors.
Therefore, Mrs Jones has collected over £4,200 for our surgery. An excellent achievement!
