St David’s Day 2021 Window Competition

Dear business owner / manager

As many of you know, Menter Iaith Sir Ddinbych holds an annual St David’s Day window competition for businesses thanks to the support of Denbigh Town Council.

This year, due to the Covid restrictions, it is more challenging to run such a competition, with shops closed and travel restrictions in place, but we are keen to continue so as to raise a smile in this challenging time for the high street. We have therefore decided to adapt the competition to include the header of  businesses’ websites or facebook pages as well as windows.

This year’s winners will receive a hamper of Welsh produce and a voucher for translation services. Runners up will receive a floral prize and a voucher for 1000 words of translation.

We would also like to draw your attention to the services of Helo Blod Lleol who can provide support for businesses to want to use more of the Welsh language within their business offer.
