Certification and approval of annual accounts for 2022-23

The Responsible Financial Officer signed and certified the accounts on 19^th June 2023.

Regulation 15(2) of the Accounts and Audit (Wales) Regulations 2014 (as amended) requires that following the certification by the Responsible Financial Officer referred to above, the Council must approve the accounts. The Regulations require that this be completed by 30 June 2023.

The Council has not yet approved the accounts due to mot receiving the Internal Audit Results prior to the June Council meeting on the 8^th June 2023.

The approval of the internally audited accounts has been scheduled for the July 13^th Full Council Meeting
