It is with great sadness that we must inform residents of the passing of Councillor Gareth Rowlands. Gareth’s passing has come a great shock to everyone at Rhuddlan Town Council and it would like to pass on its sincere condolences to his family and friends.
Gareth has been a very active Town Councillor in Rhuddlan since being elected in July 1979 and was also a Denbighshire County Councillor and member of St. Asaph Rotary for a many years.
Gareth was passionate about making positive improvements to Rhuddlan. He was a dedicated, hands-on Councillor who could be relied upon to take action and always lend a hand. He has played a key role in the development of environmental and community facilities within our town for over 45 years and will be greatly missed.
