At Love North Wales Community Support LTD on HTM Business Park, we have been developing a RePaint and ReUse facility for the local community and for anyone that needs low cost items. The idea behind this is that it will help many in our community, especially those in need.
Thanks to the hard work of our team, Rhuddlan Men’s Shed, Spar shop in Rhuddlan, your donations of tools, paint, gardening equipment and more, our RePaint/ReUse Tools, Garden & Firewood centre is almost ready to open!
We need your donations of half or full tins of non toxic paint, which must be checked by our staff at the time of donation. We are looking for donations of hand tools and power tools, garden tools, including strimmers and mowers (must be in working order) These will be cleaned, checked & made ready for use.
We will also be selling bags of firewood and kindling, all at approved moisture limits. We will be selling items that are made by the men in Rhuddlan Men’s Shed, items like raised flower planters, bird tables, hedgehog houses and much more.
As ever, delivery can be arranged locally for small loads for £1.00 per mile
To help support the community and help to raise funds for our work, we hope to sell all of the above at much lower prices than the local retailers like B&Q.
The final step is to find someone that wants to join our team with a view to running this unit. This would suit a retired person who is looking to put something back into the community, preferably has a good knowledge of DIY, although training will be given.
