Please note that there are vulnerable and elderly residents who find Halloween distressing at the best of times, and who might find the uncertainty of the current situation with Covid-19 has heightened these feelings of anxiety, particularly now that Denbighshire is in lockdown.

The Welsh Government is advising people not to take part in the tradition, saying that it would increase the risk of contracting Covid -19. Police forces across Wales are also asking people to celebrate Halloween at home rather than going out door-to-door in the traditional fashion.

Town Council members hope that residents of Rhuddlan support this request. We all need to do our best to keep ourselves and others safe. Hopefully by adhering to Welsh Government rules, everyone can have a safe and enjoyable Halloween.
