At Rhuddlan Town Councils 2026 AGM, Cllr Jackie Burnham was elected as Mayor for a second consecutive year. After being elected Cllr Jackie said “I am honoured to have been re-elected as Mayor of Rhuddlan for a second term and looks forward to continuing to serve the town and its community over the coming year. Congratulations also to Councillor Mike Elgin on his appointment as Deputy Mayor. Jackie looks forward to working alongside him in the year ahead”.
Cllr Mike Elgin was elected as Deputy Mayor. Cllr Mike commented “I am honoured to have been elected as Deputy Mayor for the forthcoming year and look forward to working with Cllr Jackie our mayor. Rhuddlan is a wonderful place to live, and I know that the Town Council do so much to help enhance the Town for everyone. We however never stand still and are always looking for ways to further add to the services we provide for residents, and I aim to continue this during the next 12 months.”
