Sharing From Home
“Sharing From Home” is an online collection of images celebrating your cultural heritage at home. Share your photos, drawings and paintings with us – let’s come together to show that we are all proud of our culture, and proud to be part of a diverse, inclusive Wales.
Our local councils in Wrexham, Flintshire & Denbighshire will be sharing this collection on Facebook and Twitter on May 21st, to celebrate World Cultural Diversity Day.
E-mail submissions before May 19th,
to the North East Wales Regional Cohesion Team at onewrexham@wrexham.gov.uk.
Happy sharing!
“What kind of photos/pictures should I share?”
Show us how your home connects you with your cultural heritage. Think about where you were born and raised. Think about where your parents and grandparents were born and raised. This might connect you to one place, or many places.
Look around your home…

In your kitchen

In your garden

On your walls

On your shelves

Your Books

Your Music

What you wear

What you believe
Add a caption to describe each image you send. Like this:
“My grandma taught me to make rarebit when I was 11 #Welsh”
“My husband grew up in Warsaw, we’ve had this old map of Poland on the wall for years #Polish”
No name or address is required, no personal details will be shared. If there is a person in the photo,
make sure you have their permission to share it online.
Send photos, drawings or paintings…as many as you like! Children and adults of all ages can get involved. Remember, it’s not a competition – just be creative, express yourself and have fun J
