Treasure Chest Coffee Morning

It was a pleasure to be at the Rhuddlan Community Center for a coffee morning on the 30th of November 2019. Mrs Mair Solomon Conwy Avenue Rhuddlan is one of the leading organizers for the breast cancer support group “Treasure Chest” organization in the area.
£1,166 raised for Breast Cancer Care Cymru

Two local choirs, Cor Alaw and Cor Colwyn entertained the audience on the 24th November. The mayor, Cllr Andy Smith said “both choirs put on a most incredible performance. So many of the audience have contacted me to tell me how special the concert was. I want to thank both choirs and of course, all the people who supported this fabulous event.”

It was a pleasure to support a Coffee Morning in the Community Centre. Thanks to Philip and Muriel Weaver, their daughter Tracey Kerfoot and their granddaughter Lucy Kerfoot for the invite. Hopefully St Kentigern have had a successful day after their efforts.

Strawberry Tea Afternoon at Springfield, Rhyl Road, Rhuddlan. Nearly £600 was raised towards the Denbighshire 2020 Urdd Eisteddfod Appeal Committee. The Mayor is very grateful to Nerys and Gareth Rowlands for the arrangements.
