New Awnings for Shops & Businesses in Rhuddlan

Businesses and shops in Rhuddlan Town have benefitted from new awnings. This initiative was started under last years Mayor, Cllr Arwel Roberts who is “very pleased to see the excellent work carried out by Lloyd Sign Solutions which certainly brighten the high street.”

The Town Council worked alongside Denbighshire County Council and the Welsh Government to secure a grant to install the awnings.  Phase 1 is almost complete with 10 shops benefitting from the scheme which was partly funded by Rhuddlan Town Council.  These awnings enhance the appearance of the shops an also provide shelter to people waiting to enter shops in this covid world.  Phase 2 is underway and grant applications have been submitted to do a further 10 shops.  Check the Town Council’s website www.rhuddlantowncouncil.gov.uk and Facebook for further details.
