Three Additional Speed Indication Devices installed on Rhuddlan Roads
Rhuddlan Town Council with the help of Denbighshire County Council have installed three new signs that indicate the speed that vehicles are travelling to encourage drivers to slow down and drive below the speed limit for the road. Two devices are located on the A547 Meliden Road and the other is on the A547 Rhyl Road near the junction to Highlands Road.
The devices are proven to reduce the speed of vehicles offering a timely reminder to drivers of the actual speed they are going and indicating if they are driving too fast. It is well known that reducing speed prevents accidents and the seriousness of resulting injuries.
Rhuddlan Town Council is very keen to improve the safety on our roads for both drivers and pedestrians and is working with the local police team in identifying areas for the Go Safe Arrive Live speeding vehicle to patrol. If you have any comments or ideas then please contact the town clerk by emailing clerk@rhuddlantowncouncil.gov.uk
