COVID-19 Vaccination Update 23.03.21

In the last two weeks, with the support of our GP partners, we have administered around 100,000 vaccinations. This week, with a reduced supply, we will pass the milestones of providing 300,000 first doses and 400,000 total vaccinations.
Welcome back to your local Library and One Stop Shop

Libraries across Denbighshire will be re-opening their doors from Monday, March 29 for browsing for books, using a computer and printing, and accessing One Stop Shop services. To ensure a safe visit, customers will need to phone their local library to make an appointment to visit.
A55 J24 to J27 RESURFACING (Updated)

I refer to the above and wish to inform you that the works noted will be undertaken over 9 nights between 17/3/21 and 26/3/21. This could result in a higher than usual level of noise at intervals and I take this opportunity in apologising in advance for any inconvenience incurred. A full closure of the A55 will be required and will be implemented between 20:00 – 06:00 (when traffic flows are lower).
New Restaurant

The Mayor & Mayoress, Cllr Arwel Roberts and Awen Roberts wish the new ‘Baileys’ Coffee Shop on the High Street well. It’s Deborah Bailey and Lynda Ainsworth’s new venture. At the moment, due to current restrictions, the meal is light meals, delicious cakes, tea and coffee to eat out. We look forward to the full menu in due course. Good luck!

The Mayor and Mayoress of Rhuddlan (Cllr. Arwel Roberts and his wife Awen) visited the newly opened Green Island Bistro recently. They paused briefly in the doorway for a quick photo with the bistro’s owners before they went inside to sample the vegan menu.

Please note that there are vulnerable and elderly residents who find Halloween distressing at the best of times, and who might find the uncertainty of the current situation with Covid-19 has heightened these feelings of anxiety, particularly now that Denbighshire is in lockdown.
