Warning to Residents – Incidents of Broken Glass on Pavements

It has been brough to the council’s attention from a concerned resident that there have been a lot of broken glass strewn across the path in the dip just after the bottom of Highlands Close, near Afon Ffyddion.

Council Is Urging Residents To Apply For The Cost Of Living Schemes Before They Close

Denbighshire County Council is working through applications for the Cost of Living Discretionary Fund and the main Cost of Living Scheme on behalf of Welsh Government.
Already a total of 4312 payments worth £495,195 have been made for the Cost of Living Discretionary Fund to qualifying residents in Band E who pay by Direct Debit.

Digital Communities Wales’ partner, Good Things Foundation, are helping thousands of vulnerable people in communities across the UK to get connected through their National Databank. The databank is tackling data poverty head on by providing free SIMS and mobile data to people in need.

Places for Nature – 2022 Applications

Great news – Applications for Local Places for Nature have re-opened. Over the last few years more than 800 community green spaces across Wales have been created, restored and enhanced. Community groups and organisations of all shapes and sizes got involved – from disability charities and youth groups to social enterprises and carer groups.
