Food Festival 2022

The food festival is back in town Saturday 14th May, Admission is only £1 per adult. The festival opens at 10am and runs until 4pm.

Queens Jubilee Celebrations in Rhuddlan 2022

A virtual meeting regarding events to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee is to be held on the 26th of April at 7 p.m. Members of the public wishing to attend may do so by informing the Town Clerk by 1700 on the 26th of April so the necessary arrangement can be made.

Very Important Information from Denbighshire County Council

We recently sent out all the relevant information to all those residents in Denbighshire who requested a postal vote in the forthcoming local government elections. Unfortunately, the information sheet in the pack contained an error, as it incorrectly stated that voters could vote for no more than one candidate. However, in some county wards and for town and community elections voters may be eligible to vote for more than one candidate.

Press Release – Admirals Field Update

In 2021 Rhuddlan Town Council purchased a building that was previously the Munchkins Nursery situated next to Admiral Fields near the MUGA (multi-use games area). Planning permission has been granted to refurbish the building and turn it into a Community Building.

News Release – 11th January 2022

At its annual precept meeting, Rhuddlan Town Councillors unamously voted not to increase the town council tax household contribution and maintain it at £98.87 per household per year.

Business Forum

The Town Council has had a request from a local shop keeper to help set up a business forum for Rhuddlan. Members of the Town Council agreed to look to see if there is enough interest in such a forum. If you run or own a business or shop in Rhuddlan and would be interested in being part of a business forum.

New Awnings for Shops & Businesses in Rhuddlan

Businesses and shops in Rhuddlan Town have benefitted from new awnings. This initiative was started under last years Mayor, Cllr Arwel Roberts who is “very pleased to see the excellent work carried out by Lloyd Sign Solutions which certainly brighten the high street.”
